The circuit Blue
1h15 of spellbinding sailing to the ocean
By choosing the blue route from Pont-Aven, You'll embark directly on an unforgettable trip down the Aven river to the ocean, before meandering back up the river to the starting point.
Your guide will tell you all about the maritime history of this ria, from the lively tide-puller traffic to the courageous quarrymen who extracted blocks of granite from the banks to build Brittany's harbours - an incomparably rich past that has shaped the landscape.
As you sail along, you'll discover astonishing châteaux overlooking the water, ancient tide mills and sumptuous mansions with lush gardens lined with gorse.
We'll also be taking a look at the flora and fauna: observe the seabirds and migratory birds, and the abundant vegetation from April onwards with the rhododendrons in flower.
You'll understand why painters such as Gauguin, Filiger and Meyer de Haan were captivated by these ever-changing views, as the seasons, tides and hours of the day changed.

The circuit Red
1h45 of complete exploration of the two rias
The 1 hour 45 minute red circuit offers a more in-depth adventure After boarding at Pont-Aven, you will sail down the river Aven to the ocean, passing through the pretty port of Kerdruc. where you can admire castles and mansions overlooking lush riverbanks.
Your guide will tell you all about the human activities that have marked the history of this ria, as well as the rich flora and fauna that surround it.
Arriving at Port Manech, you will leave behind the picturesque beach and the lighthouse on your starboard side to head out to sea and reach the mouth of the Bélon, famous since the end of the 19th century for its first oyster beds where the famous flat and hollow Bélon oysters mature.
You'll sail over these emblematic parks, before reaching the port of Bélon, a still vibrant coastal fishing haven: our speedboat, the Paul Gauguin, may come across caseyeurs, fileyeurs or small artisanal trawlers, with a direct sales outlet on the quay on the Moëlan-sur-Mer side.
After a few cables down the meandering Bélon, the Paul Gauguin will sail quietly up the ria for a peaceful return to Pont-Aven.
